Pacific Autism Family Centre
While gaining my Big Agency experience at Wasserman + Partners in Vancouver, BC, I learned that the agency regularly took on pro bono projects that the owner felt strongly about. The Pacific Autism Family Center (PAFC) turned out to be one such cause.
A state-of-the-art facility, PAFC is a one-of-a-kind center built to provide children with special needs and their families access to world-class treatment, research, and support. But in 2015, when I began work on this project, not a single brick had been laid. A $28 million facility, its founders spent years of their life raising funds to bring this project to fruition.
Led by our creative director, I took on the project as its sole copywriter and worked closely with illustrators, photographers, and graphic designers in-house to craft copy for a 30-page booklet that would be used primarily as a fundraising tool.
